Welcoming and assessment of newborn babies

Personalised paediatric care
The paediatrician of your choice, or the one on call, will examine your baby at birth and provide medical care during your stay.

After birth

At Clinique Générale-Beaulieu, we provide comprehensive mother-child care. We do everything we can to make the birth of your child a unique experience, and to ensure that your stay meets your expectations.

Comprehensive mother-child care

Every day, a midwife or nursery nurse assesses the after-effects of your delivery or caesarean section and provides you with the necessary care.

She will check on the physiological progress of your baby after your delivery (vaginal or caesarean), carry out the usual checks on your baby, help you with day-to-day care (nappy changing, washing, etc.) and assist you with feeding (mother's milk or artificial feeding). She will also help you with hygiene care, as required.

Your baby is cared for in the morning, so that we can adapt our care according to the parameters (weight, temperature, bilirubin, etc.).

During your stay, your baby will have

  •  a hearing test (painless),
  • a Guthrie test from the third day (taking a few drops of blood from the heel).

By listening to you and making herself available, she will support you in your new role as a mother, while respecting your needs and those of your baby.

A first-class hotel service

A care assistant orders your meals, organises your one-to-one meal and looks after your surroundings (making up your bed, changing your towels, stocking the necessary equipment, etc.). They also answer your calls as often as possible to minimise your waiting time.

The hotel team is responsible for cleaning your room and serving your meals, and also responds to your requests for snacks during the day. You can call them directly using the dedicated bell on the telephone.

Personalised announcement

Clinique Générale-Beaulieu and its partner MotherStories offer you the opportunity to share this wonderful news:

You can then decide whether or not you would like the photo to be published in our Baby Gallery.

Two professional photographers work with the Maternity Ward and are available on Tuesdays and Fridays.

A wide range of courses are available to help you make the most of your new role as a parent.
